From these, in chat, several of us were able to see some letters with dots on them that seem to spell out:
RESCUE SAME TIME (in the top section)
OR ONE DIES (in the bottom section)

well crap....that sucks...hopefully we'll know more once Adam and Maddison post something. I was going to be back in chat tonight...but once again my computer decided that it hates me for some unknown reason...but I think it's happy again.

One dies!!!!
One! Not one of the girls, but girl number 1. I think we all agree that Maddison is girl number 4, which means this is about to get really serious.

Every letter on the not is capitalized except for the y in you 5 and 6 lines below the blackout. Also do the words "YOU MUST NOT KNOW" seem lighter than all the others?

Okay, I just want to mention some random, not well thought out yet ideas about the letter to spark the discussion...
First about the message "RESCUE SAME TIME ... OR ONE DIES" (which may have something more in the blacked out part in the middle). Someone in chat thought this might mean that Abby and Thomas must be rescued at the same time or the other one dies. This kind of makes sense if they are really in love, then they are each being controlled from trying to escape by fear of the other one being killed. My initial reaction (which is probabably wrong) was that this message sounded like a threat - as if Abby is forcing Thomas to rescue someone (maybe her, maybe Maddison) at the "same time" or she will kill someone Thomas cares about. This idea would put Abby and Thomas in conflict with each other rather than truely in love, and assumes the love stuff is just a cover story by Abby.
Okay, on the letter itself, Kira pointed out that the spacing looks a bit odd. Some words are really widely spaced, the word MYSTERY is jammed up against one side, and the words A MIRACLE are crammed together in the middle.. Looking at the page, there are wide open channels between words that seem to radiate from the center, and maybe form groups of words we might want to try to analyze. If not the spacing, the wording itself seems a bit odd, and may very well contain some kind of code.
There is also a lot of talk about TIME in this letter which makes me think we need to figure out a time. I also had the random idea that the words on the page, with radiating groups of words and spaces between words, might somehow form the face of a clock.
When Abby asks "WHEN WILL WE SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN? WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME I HEARD YOUR VOICE?" it made me think perhaps she might be looking for info about when he sent the postcards, to figure out his route. Assuming Abby is fairly near to Nacogdoches (to receive the pigeons), then she may need an idea of when Thomas might be able to reach her.

Other things I notice from the letter photo:
- again Abby keeps interchanging her I's (some are sans-serif, some aren't)
- some of her Y's are different -- both times she writes "how you can" her Y's have curly tails but usually they have been just capital Y's
- first instance I've noticed her W's can be different too -- also in "how you can" her W's are way rounder than her usual W's.
Is there any significance to this, I don't know.

Other random things...
The word SANE reminds me of seine, which is a net used for catching fish or birds. Maybe an idea to filter the text somehow. I tried googling 'seine cipher' and the very first reference that comes up is a mention of the Seine river in Sir Francis Bacon's Cipher Story by Orville Ward Owen. Seems a stretch, but that's what came up so ???
The last paragraph of the letter begins with the words "WHEN WILL WE" which made me think of a URL starting with WWW.
Oh, and the occasionally dotted i's mentioned by Panda were a part of the dotted letter message (TIME and DIE).

I had this crazy idea that the spaces decoded into some Morse code... ???? Just an idea so far. No idea how you would dictate punctuation or spacing between the Morse letters if all you had were spaces.

Not just that -- some of the I's are serif, some are sans-serif. Why is that? Because Abby is crazy?
Example of sans-serif: "DISCOVERY", "BIRDS", "BREAKING", "IS A MIRACLE", etc.
Serif: "IT'S [A SHAME]" "I AM" "I LOVE" "IS [A MYSTERY]"

That's the current thought Kindred...since every letter we have found has the number 4 at the top...also Thomas is getting closer and closer to Maddison...wondering if maybe there is some kind of trade off they are planning...Maddison for Abby maybe...
