Standing Bear Lake Drop
ok you guys. here are pictures of the drop. I will have more for you later, of the location and surrounding area, but we need to get cracking, there is a hidden message on this paper, you can see part of it from the back of the paper, I think we may have figured out what we need to do next, but i want to make sure we give EVERYONE the chance to look at it before we do anything to the clue.

We have five ideas so far but we are pretty well agreed HEAT is the answer to getting the secret message.
1.) hold it over a hot oven
2.) hold it over a flame
3.) sunlight and magnifying glass.
4.) a lightbulb
5.) blow dryer
What does everyone feel about these ideas?

Jenn applied heat to the paper... unfortuneatly she didnt get the message in time about the high resolution scan. :( sorry guys. It was lemon oil on the back of the paper, when she applied heat a message appeared. I am waiting for email and scans of the new message, but it reads: NEED U. KIDS DIE. CONFIRM. BIRD. SPINE

Comedy show? I bet that's a fun time to be at the Fredonia.
I found the card on the bar's myspace page ... 9flagsbar ... and see the show is Wed June 24 .... are you lucky enough to be working that night?
Also, is there any morse code or Egyptian hieroglyphics or invisible ink or anything on the other side of that card? ;)
(if it smells like urine, it's got to be invisible ink, lol)

On the envelope, the name THOMAS has an underscore after it "THOMAS_" similar to the "T-" on the postcard.
The word "SPINE" may have a number "1" in the middle instead of the letter "I" making it

We should investigate whether there is a connection between treatment of the pigeons (birds/animals) mentioned in this letter to our Maddison and her recent Dr.'s visit (bandaid in Just Maddison video), sleepiness (in Law & Order video), knowledge of Liver as source of iron (from extended Brainstorming), and missing class for some unexplained reason (as mentioned by Adam in the Whiskey and the Brain video)... also going fishing with her Dad near Appleby where there are no large bodies of water seems odd.
Is there a relationship between the vet and Maddison's doctor? Do they know each other? Work nearby each other? Are they the same person? Are either of them named "BIRD" or "SPINE" ?

Good attention to many medical details that seem not to match up, though some things do seem to be explaineable (her being tired...she was up late the night before)/ bandaid never was explained.

It looks more like a "Y" to me, as in SPY NE (as in, where the bird should go...?)
