David Morrison New CD: Landlocked (featuring a song by Jeromy!)

Hey Maddy pplz. I have a new CD: Landlocked, Sorry, it doesn't feature Light Up My Way, but it does have my new version of Jeromy's wonderfully unsettling song Still Time. (My old-timey version of that was in one of the episodes, I forget which.)

Anyhoo, you can download the album for free from my website: davidmorrisonmusic.Continue

Jeromy Barber Steve made this last Halloween

This is totally off topic, but a collaborator on MA 2.0 made this costume last October, and I helped him make this video to sell it. It's kind of an amazing costume, so I'm putting it here in case anyone here is involved with a community who might enjoy it. It's an Iron Man Mark I costume. Continue

Jeromy Barber The Webbies. Yes or No.

So, i am looking at submitting MA 2.0 to the webbies, but it's $300....per catagory. So, if I want to submit for best drama, $300. If I want to submit for Best Use of Interactive Video, $300. Best Performance, $300. It is adding up quick. I guess I'm writing now to ask what you, my friends and fans think. I can afford to submit for 1 category, but I can't for more than that. I have til December 18th to decide. I need feedback. Continue

David Morrison Song of the Week: Anhedonia

David Morrison Song of the Week: Money in the Bag

Well, I'm not very good at doing things by deadlines, so the Song of the Week is becoming a bit more like the Song of Whenever I Feel Like It, but here's the latest: Money In the Bag, (11.2 MB, 320 kbps) It's by Hop, my old band from Austin in the early 90's. Drums: Greg Thibeaux. Bass: Rich Wooson. Vocals and goofy guitar: me. Continue

David Morrison Song of the Week:Mr. Mitochondrion

This week's Song of the Week: Mr Mitochondrion. I recorded this on 4-track cassette in 2003, back when I was just learning to play the drums. I'm going to redo it for the album but I kinda like the rawness of this demo version.

Mr. Mitochondrion (320 kbps, 7.4 MB)

David Morrison Song of the Week: Starling

This week's Song of the Week: Starling, by The Clydes. (9.5 MB, 320 kbps.) This song was written and sung by the exquisitely gifted Melinda Dock. I played all the instruments. The Clydes album is on my hard drive, awaiting drum tracks and some kind of business model for release. See myspace.com/theclydes for more tunes. Continue

Jeromy Barber Update about things

hey everybody. The office is so boring right now. I'm in there alone just making commercials. I really miss all the hustle and bustle and muscle of having Jason, Fay and Miranda there day in and day out. They were such fun even though Faye never took me up on my offer for my breakfast shake. I still have a bunch of poop stains from Jason's dogs to clean up. I'm going to hire a professional for that... and I am going to throw one of rugs out. It's kinda of gross. I'm willing to give it away to wh… Continue

David Morrison Song of the Week: Season of Liars

Another song of the week. (Just tell me if I need to shut up about this.) This is from the music for a play called 300 Plays About Vladimir Putin, put on by the Rude Mechanicals in Austin in 2004. Co-written with Robert Pierson of my old band the Bigamy Sisters. Season of Liars (160 kbps, 6.4MB) Continue
